New Product Development Centre opens

The new Product Development Centre, at the Innovation Centre, in St Leonards-on-Sea has officially opened.

The centre, funded by Sea Space, SEEDA, South East Knowledge Exchange and the European Union, is available for any businesses or individuals looking to develop new products using rapid prototyping or 3-D.

Local manufacturers have already taken advantage of the state of the art facilities.

Peter Adlington from Plastipack Ltd said: "We're a modern technology-driven company and we were able to put together a prototype model quickly using the PDC prototype. Having this facility and workstations locally has been such a benefit to our business."
