Sound Advice

Informed Financial Advice was founded in January 2006 by Darryl & Linda Tribbeck. They offer quality independent financial advice to both individuals and businesses, using the latest technology to provide an efficient quality service. They were originally based in Rye but due to immediate growth, were pleased to move to brand new offices at the Innovation Centre in St Leonards in September 2006, whilst taking on an experienced office manager, Robin Gibbs at the same time. A few months later they were joined by Independent Financial Adviser, Trevor Ovenden and more recently an experienced office administrator, Beatrice Dixon. The current staff have a total of more than 60 years experience in financial services.
They are very proud to be the first Independent Financial Advisers in Hastings and St Leonards to be awarded membership of the ‘Buy with Confidence’ scheme run by East Sussex Trading Standards. The scheme puts consumers in touch with approved traders who have agreed to provide high standards of customer service. Approved traders are vetted before they join and agree to: ensure that staff members are properly trained for their work, respond promptly and correctly to customer complaints, get Criminal Records Bureau clearance for all staff who carry out work in people’s homes and at all times treat the customer fairly.
The advisers are qualified to offer advice on the full range of financial products for individuals and businesses; they also have additional specialist qualifications in care fees planning and equity release. One key area in which they regularly give advice, is pensions and protection for businesses. All staff at the Company are continually striving for improved knowledge, development and qualifications by studying for Chartered Insurance Institute exams.
