Arena Training - Selling Opportunities Announcement

Arena Training awards freelance media sales executives contracts and can provide full training to suitable candidates.

Arena Training Ltd represents local press and events, selling advertising and exhibition space and event sponsorship to regional and national advertisers and sponsors. The company currently has a number of freelance contracts available and will be holding another of their successful assessment days at the Innovation Centre this month.

The purpose of the assessment day is two-fold; firstly for the company to meet with you and to find out more about you: They aim to select, from among those attending, the successful applicants who will be required to work from home on a part-time, hours to suit basis - earning commission on sales. Secondly it is an opportunity for attendees to find out more about what working from home on this basis involves; what exactly the selling roles are; what's required, and the earning potential. It is a chance for you to find out whether you feel working from home selling advertising and/or sponsorship is for you.

Attending the event does not guarantee that your application to win a home-based media sales contract will be successful, as the purpose of this event is to assess each applicant's suitability to the roles that the company currently has available. All those attending who wish to apply for work in media sales will be informed, either way, as to whether they have been successful within five working days following the event.

The next Arena Training Ltd Assessment and Induction Day will be held on 13th August, at The Innovation Centre in St Leonards-on-Sea.

The event commences at 9.30am and concludes at 3pm and there are a few places left. If you wish to attend, then please contact Rob Hill by email; info@arena-training.com

Arena Training are dedicated to awarding successful candidates with flexible jobs working from home. We recruit for home based jobs, part time jobs, and contract and freelance jobs at all levels in media sales. Each individual we recruit is assigned to a specific selling project which matches their interests, skills, and availability to the needs of the selling project.

Applicants should be confident, have excellent communication skills, be able to develop good relationships with a number of clients and have a high degree of business awareness. Media salesrequires an outgoing and confident personality, persistence, and the ability to handle setbacks.

Responsible for selling advertising on behalf of newspapers, magazines, radio, television and/or new media in an extremely competitive environment, the role will require cold calling new clients, selling over the phone and building revenue from existing clients. Salary is based on commission and there are plenty of opportunities for promotion.

A career in sales can be very rewarding and is as much about understanding clients and managing their requirements; as it is closing a deal. Our approach is to listen to customer problems / opportunities and respond with creative and intelligent solutions which compliment or exceed their requirements. As a media sales executive, you must be able to successfully promote the benefits of the advertising format on offer and maximise the effectiveness of a client’s advertising campaign.
